The first weeks in Stoke are proving to be very challenging and intensive. We happened to face different challenges and obstacles daily.
The main objective is to get as much physio as possible and learn the best techniques to progress with Aaron's movement.

Aaron started strong although he is battling pain and exhaustion. In the early stages, it took physiotherapists two days to relax his muscles and stretch his ligaments to get them working again after 6 months of the arms not moving. you can see how much pain Aaron is in to do the crucifix stretch in the slings.
He is standing up in the frame for 40 min most days to build and strengthen his core and improve blood circulation.
He is making progress daily and is getting stronger. His drive and determination are paying off. But its not going as fast as Aaron wants... we are working on his patience part as well :)
Aaron's schedule is getting busier weekly. In addition to his allocated physio and OT therapies, we are adding our sessions daily to optimize time in Stoke. To rebuild his muscles which he has lost in the last 6 months and strenght. In the next coming weeks he will have hydrotherapy. He is also waiting for acupuncture sessions to be booked in to reduce pain and, pins and kneedles in his shoulders.
Aaron has rest time over the weekends, doing some stretches and hanging out with friends in Horatio's Garden where we get freshly baked cakes and a lot of coffee!
Tune for this update...
