Aaron settled really well in the new hospital. He is managing to get good sleep and is receiving fantastic care. That is leading him to achieve phenomenal progress!
He is now managing to breathe on his own for 12 hours! The next step is to do his own breathing overnight without a support machine.
The biggest achievement was for Aaron to start moving his arms slightly! He is doing a lot of physio now; electric stimulations are proving to be very effective for Aaron's muscle stimulations.
It was a busy two weeks, in addition to intense physio sessions Aaron went out for his CT scan which came back clear, had his tube replaced by a smaller one, and went through bronchoscopy. All to make sure that his diaphragm is getting stronger to support Arron's breathing without the machine.
He had more visitors, his weekly massage from gorgeous Jemma from Mobile Massages Herts, watching football on Friday night with Wes, and practicing ET sign with Glenn!
We are both wishing we were somwhere else...
Keep going Aaron. Great progress.
