It took us 5 weeks to finally create this space where we can share with you how Aaron has progressed since his motorbike accident while racing in Brands Hatch on 29 July.
It was a long five weeks for Aaron, myself, our two boys, and all of you who care after Aaron.

Aaron has been transferred from Kings College Hospital in London and is now back closer to home in Addenbrooks Hospital in Cambridge where he is getting fantastic care.

His progress is very slow and it will take time, but as we all know he is a fighter and he will not stop until he is back.

Aaron has a spinal cord injury, which resulted in him losing the ability to move from shoulders down. Seriousness of it also impacted his ability to breathe on his own.
In the first week, he was intubated which was then followed by a tracheostomy.
The goal is for Aaron to be able to breathe on his own and get off the support machine.

So far he made great progress and in week two, he started speaking through a valve, although this is making him very tired he carries on!
In week three he had his favourite full fat milk and a bit of yogurt!
The next step will be to introduce some solid foods!

A big part of his recovery is physio, his plan includes exercise, sitting in a chair, standing on the tilt table, and even riding a bicycle! Lately, he was introduced to electric stimulations. This way we are keeping his muscles engaged and active.

We all know how important is for Aaron to look good at all the times :) His Favourite barber Phil popped over to give him nice cut!
During this period Aaron had friends coming over to visit him and support him with his recovery thank you all for popping in !
We received an overwhelming support from our friends and family.
Some of you helped to look after our boys Maverick and Thor.
Thank you Hester & Grant, Faye & Craig, Gosia & Sebastian (they flown form Poland!) and our beloved Nicky (we would be lost without you!).
Glen and Jamie thank you for arranging support event during BEMSEE Snetterton Weekend!
And to Aaron, Mike and Tim from LFP Motorsport!
It is a long update but important one. I will be posting about Aaron progress every couple of days.
And just to finish it I wanted to share that now I am back home with Maverick and Thor. First evening when I arrived home, I looked around and realised .....
Keep fighting Aaron
Next bike fairing paint job is on me

Keep fighting Aaron. It was so lovely to see you both today. Keep fighting like we all know you can. Can't wait to be able to beat you in a BMX race again 🤣. I'm incredibly proud of you, your physical and mental strength is incredible.
It's an honour to say your my big brother and I love you very much... xxxx. Thank you Dom, for everything you are doing. We are all so grateful to you, for you and everything you are doing. Always here for you. Love you both very much
Aaron is doing amazing! Every time I see him there's an improvement, whether it be the size of his grin or more of his cheeky banter. Positivity always shines through.
Looking forward to when the 3 of us are back in your kitchen talking about the time you could barely talk and we had some peace and quiet.
Massive love to you both ❤️
Hi Aaron, I'm absolutely gutted to be reading this, praying for a speedy recovery for you buddy
All the best

So sorry to hear of the accident Aaron. The Bemsee family is there to help in whatever way we can and you know we have already done so behind the scenes. Whatever it is...ask and we will help you get through this.
